Do not use this inept agency, absolutely shocking service and rude staff. Save yourself the hassle
Please make sure you read these reviews before considering any interaction with this company! Absolutely terrible service, rude, unprofessional and aggressive. They gave me a copy of the wrong contract and are aware that I have someone elses full details including number, address, email address and full name. Theyve known I have this information for over 2 weeks, and they have made no attempt to retrieve the contract from me. I luckily swapped to W H Brown (the Yaxley branch) who have been nothing but fantastic.
Shocking communication and rude manager. Turned up at the wrong house (2 bed terraced despite booking to view 3 bed semi). Turns out another agent had sold it a month earlier and they kept advertised to draw in viewings for other properties. Same thing happened a year ago with different property. Wouldn't sell or buy with them ever. Avoid at all costs!
Absolutely awful!! I'd give them zero if I could!! Arranged to view a property but was told I couldn't view it until we spoke to their in house mortgage broker. We had a mortgage all sorted as well as our solicitor, so we were not interested and told them repeatedly. They would not book in a viewing until we agreed (which we did but did not actually go through with meeting their broker)We liked the property and put an offer in. We were told that because we didn't use their in house broker, that the vendor would favour any offers from buyers that had use their in house services - not only is this black mail, but also illegal as all offers have to be put forward to the vendor. Sharman delayed putting our offer forward to the vendor. I can only think they did this to be awkward.They were terrible at replying to any questions/phone calls/emails. When they did they were rude and unhelpful.Ultimalty the house we wanted, accepted our offer, only for a structural engineer to point out the house had subsidence and so was unfit for a mortgage. Sharman quinney told us that our (independant) engineer was wrong, and that their own engineer would of passed it.....which is a little worrying. I see the house has since been sold again, and I do wonder if the buyers have been bullied to use all in house options to make the purchase 'smooth' even though our lenders (Halifax) wouldn't touch it.Wouldn't ever use this company to buy or sell! Be warned!!
WORST estate agents I have ever known. Experienced countless issues with them:1 - When I first decided to sell I had them value my house. The staff member was not overly helpful when she came to view, didn't seem knowledgeable at all. Then when we received the valuation via post it was different to what she had told us in person.2 - We wanted a viewing booked for a house we were interested in. We asked but were not given a time slot. At 5pm the next evening they called and asked where we were? We said er nobody confirmed our viewing.. they said can you be here in 15 minutes. Well luckily enough we lived close by so were able to, but honestly?! The communication is just shockingly terrible. 3 - We were interested in a property and before viewing decided to put in a provisional offer. The "manager" did not respond to our emails or voicemails about it so we did not go ahead with the offer. Overall my experience with this estate agent was truly awful. They CONSTANTLY hound you with telephone calls about properties that don't even match what you are looking for! The staff clearly don't communicate with each other either as multiple staff members contact you at various points about the same property!I would NOT recommend using this agent to sell your property - their staff come across as very inexperienced and I would not trust them to sell my property.
